俗话说，买的不如卖的精。事实上也的确如此。但是在买东西的时候合理使用卖家的各项优惠政策，也能达到省钱的目的。

首先需要介绍的是 EB Games 的各项促销手段（Promotion）：

1. Gaming Guarantee：预购游戏之后，在游戏发售后7天内将游戏卖回店内（trade-back），可以拿到（税前）全额返还店内消费点数（in-store credit）。并不是所有的游戏都是 Gaming Guarantee，通常来讲，GG 游戏都是超大作，或者很难在7天内通关的游戏，比如《分裂细胞5》、《刺客信条2》和一些RPG类游戏。

2. Power Trade：在拿游戏换点数（trade-in）的时候，如果再预购一款在 PT 列表上的游戏，将会获得额外 50% 的点数（trade-in value）。

3. 免税：用店内消费点数（in-store credit）买游戏不用交任何税。

最近刚刚实践了一下。之前在 HMV 预购《Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sand》的时候正赶上促销，$59.99 + Tax，赠送 $25 购物卡。玩完之后去 EB Games trade-in，当时 EB Games 回购价为 $35，同时预定《Clash of the Titans》（Power Trade + Gaming Guarantee），实际交换价为 $52.5。补差价 + Tax 拿到《Clash of the Titan》之后，再卖回 EB Games，换得 $69.99 店内消费点数。然后又预定了《Kane & Lynch 2》（Gaming Guarantee）……

顺便提一下，《Clash of the Titans》就是烂作一个，画面杯具就不说了，最让人受不了的是一个敌人要五分钟才能打死，然后拿到少得可怜的升级材料。打了一小时才能把一个武器升满。要知道这游戏里面一共有几十个武器。任务更是悲剧，就是砍怪救人。定点存档，不愧是小日本制作的游戏。估计 EB Games 会后悔把这游戏列为 Gaming Guarantee。

两年前，为了心仪已久的《Ace Combat 6》，精打细算之后去 Bestbuy 买了一台精英版 Xbox 360。一转眼两年过去了，Xbox 360 带来了很多欢乐。但是欢乐也是有代价的，在《Xbox360 购机一年，成本粗算》之后，照例在第二年也进行成本估算。
